PRODUCT INFORMATION

Foam filled, 7 Gallon Classic Mini Fuel Tank Kit with splash bowl, screw cap, roll over valve, straps and mounting foam. The tank fits into the spare wheel well of a classic Mini. Dip tube sender flange OR sight glass version available. 8mm push fittings OR JIC -6 screw up fittings.

The tank fits into the spare wheel well of a classic Mini. Concept Racing aluminium fuel tanks are foam filled to help prevent fuel surge and suppress explosions. The fuel filler has an internal diameter of 38mm and has a black knurled screw on cap with a seal. Dip tube sender flange OR sight glass version available. 8mm push fittings OR JIC -6 screw up fittings. If you need a fuel injection return please let us know by Email when placing you order. Bespoke fabrications are our speciality so if you need something different please do just ask.

The roll over valve screws into the tank (JIC -6). It must be vented to atmosphere, in a safe place by the 8mm spigot.

These tanks are sold as a kit, they come with straps and foam for mounting them in the car.

The sender unit version comes with the Sender unit. NB: The Ohm range for the Sender unit is 240-33 OHMS. This should match the Smiths senders found in most classic Minis but please do check your OHM range.

NB: We no longer supply sight glass hose with our fuel tanks – OD of sight glass fittings is 6.5mm)

Over the last 25 he has worked on some of the most prestigious race cars ever built, from Maserati 250Fs, Lotus Grand Prix cars, Rolls Royce and Aston Martin to current Formula 1 engined hill climb cars and 24 hour Le Mans cars. Over this period of time he has gained vast experience in a multitude of areas within the Motorsport Industry. Bob has an unparalleled attention to detail combined a passion for creation and skilled craftsmanship.

Clare Daniels joined the Concept Team in 2006 and is involved in all aspects of the business. Clare is a skilled fabricator who has been at Bob’s side for the last 24 years. Over this time Clare has gained an in depth knowledge of dry sump tank manufacture and design, high performance aluminium heat exchangers and fuel tanks. Clare is the main point of contact at Concept and will do everything possible to provide you with a friendly, knowledgeable and reliable service.
